    This is not factual. Reverse Osmosis and distilling are two entirely different process to purify water. In either case the water will end up with a slightly less pH than your source water. If your water is 7.4 pH, then after purifying it will be around 7.2 pH. I test a lot of bottled water and have never found any to be below 7.0 pH.
